Adding RF Smart Back to the Android Home Screen

Overview

This article explains how to restore the RF Smart shortcut to your Android device’s home screen using the provided QR code. This allows quick access to RF Smart through Google Chrome.

Prerequisites

• Android device with a built-in barcode/QR scanner
• Google Chrome installed on the device
• Access to the RF Smart QR code attachment

Procedure

1. From the home screen, use your device’s built-in barcode scanner to scan the RF Smart QR code.
2. When the notification appears, tap the link, then scroll down and select “Open in Chrome.”
3. In Chrome, tap the three dots menu in the top-right corner.
4. Select “Add to Home screen.”
5. Tap “Add” to confirm.

Result

An RF Smart icon will be added to your home screen. Tapping this icon will open RF Smart directly in Chrome for quick access.

Notes

• The shortcut must be opened in Chrome for the “Add to Home screen” option to appear.
• Ensure the page fully loads before attempting to add it to your home screen.
